How to Do Invisible Text on Discord: Spoiler Tags and Unicode Methods 

Sometimes you just want to invisible text on Discord. It could be a big spoiler from a movie or game. Or maybe you simply feel like sending a blank-looking message for fun. Discord lets you do both, but the ways are different.

First decide what you actually need.  

If you want to cover normal words so people have to click to read them, use a spoiler tag.  

If you want the message to look completely empty, use an invisible character instead.

Spoiler tags are the simple way

Discord already has a built-in tool for this. You don’t need any special codes or websites.

Open the chat and type your message as usual. Select the part you want to hide. Click Mark as Spoiler. Then send it. The text stays covered until someone clicks on it.

You can also do it faster without clicking anything. Just put two vertical lines on both sides of your text like this:

When to use each method

Why invisible text sometimes doesn’t work
